sometimes the version number when you first start them. However, this
startup screen may go off the screen too quickly. Not to worry, simply
select the "Help" menu and then the "About..." option from the main menu
once the browser is loaded.

What is
Javascript and why do I need to enable it? That is a very good question. First we will explain
what JavaScript is, then we will tell you what it can do and not do for
you and then we will finish by talking about why you need to enable
it.
JavaScript is an interpreted language (i.e. it does
not need to be compiled) that has characteristics of Object Oriented
languages, e.g. objects, properties, methods. In english, it is
basically a program language, that can enhance (in most cases) your
internet browsing experience.
Why do I
need to enable it? Well,
you don't and in most cases you will still be able to surf just fine.
SmartZoid Research Corp. has opted to use some Javascript in our pages
to show users what javascript can do and what we can do with
Javascript.
